Policies:
Reservations:
- A deposit of one night’s accommodation plus tax is taken 30 days prior to your arrival and is non-reunfable. The entirety of your reservations is due in full 15 days prior to your arrival and is non-refundable.
- Reservation inquiries may be made by email, telephone or online, but all Reservations must be guaranteed by a valid Credit Card.
- Please make sure that your credit card information is correct. If we fail to deduct the deposit or charge your accommodations from your credit card within 30 days before your check-in, your reservation will be cancelled.
Cancellation:
- Should you cancel your reservation 30 days prior to your arrival date you will not be charged a deposit and qualify for a free cancellation.
- Should you cancel less than 30 days prior to your arrival date the deposit will not be refunded.
- Should you cancel less than 15 days prior to your arrival the remaining balance will not be refunded.
- The property makes no refunds for no-shows or early checkouts.
Check-In & Check-Out Times & Policies:
Check-In May through Labour Day: 4:00 PM TO 9:00 PM
Check-In after Labour Day: 3:00 PM TO 6:00 PM
Check Out: 8:00AM-10:00AM
- If a later check-in is required, please notify us in advance and we will make sure your arrival is smooth and convenient.
- No late departures during July and August. If you check out later than the check-out time, we will charge a late service fee of $75 per hour.
- Late check-outs are dependent on various factors and we try to accommodate guests when at all possible. Please speak to the front desk.
No Show or Early Check-Outs:
Full rental charge will be applied.
Smoking:
We have a no-smoking policy at Lakeview, should you smoke in your unit, you will be charged a $250.00 fee for cleaning services.
Children:
All children must be accommodated by an adult while in the pool/hot tub area.
Pets:
We have a strict no-pet policy at Lakeview, should you have a pet in your unit you will be charged a $250.00 fee for cleaning services.
Payment Methods Accepted:
- We accept cash, debit cards, Visa, and MasterCard.
- We only accept Canadian dollars and do not provide foreign currency exchange services.
Policies for Cavendish Music Festival:
- Minimum 4-night bookings are only accepted.
- A credit card must be used to book and we will charge a non-refundable deposit.
- All accommodation fees will be charged in January and are non-refundable.
- A photo Id is required upon check-in. If Credit Card information and Photo Id do not match the reservation the property can refuse accommodations or remove unauthorized guests from the property with no refund.
- A $1000 damage and nuisance deposit are required upon check-in and will be fully refunded upon departure if there is no damage and no nuisance warnings.
- The number of people accepted in each cottage model is at our discretion. No extra people will be allowed. Extra people staying in a cottage over and above the reservation number will mean refusal of accommodation or ejection from the property with no refund.
- There will be a limit of 1 vehicle per cottage, any more than 1 will have to be authorized through the office prior to your arrival date.
- No visitors are permitted to be on the property or to park on the premises during the festival. Vehicles will be towed at their own expense, registered guests will be held responsible, and rebooking privileges will be revoked.
